  We first went to Vox Dei for the Sunday Gathering at 10am at the High Blue Wellness Center. The entire hour was a breath of fresh air for our family. So simple, relaxed, engaging, and caring. The teaching is deep yet easily accessible to everyone, the music is simple and heartfelt, the decor is light and beautiful, and the people are vulnerable and hospitable. It's been called a sister church to the likes of Jacob's Well and Beggars Table. If you're looking for a church in the south KC area that is simple, without the hype or smoke machines, this is the church for you.

  We really enjoy the messages at Vox Dei Community! You don't find this type of rich thoughtful teaching in many churches. I have recommended that my friends listen online if they can't make the service. We find the worship gathering very refreshing also. It is a unique reformulating of classical elements with a contemporary flavor. I think it would be meaningful and appreciated by people of any age. I invite you to give it a try!
